In the early 2000s, confronted with the inconsistencies of traditional cork closures, he began searching for a better solution. Rather than looking to the wine industry for answers, he turned to a material he already trusted from the worlds of medicine and science: glass.

Its purity, stability and neutrality inspired a new idea — a closure designed not to influence the liquid inside, but to protect it. That idea became Vinolok.
